Opportunity

Make the theatre recognisable while giving Summer Nights a distinct presence. Build a consistent identity that could accommodate a constantly changing programme without flattening the individuality of its artists.

Solution

Working with Duncan Wright, I established a photographic direction centred on the artists and the worlds they create. Playful, character-led imagery gave different productions a shared visual language without making them look alike.

With Tim Meakins and Simran Singh, I connected the visual refresh and website rebuild with campaigns, programme publications, venue signage and digital communications. The system worked across the year-round brand and successive Summer Nights seasons.

Outcome

A coherent organisational voice and a flexible campaign platform. The theatre’s brand and Summer Nights could work together, giving the internal team a repeatable approach while keeping each season’s artists and productions at the centre.
